Wax Technician Program
Royal Spa Academy is now offering a 5-week (23 day) class to become a licensed wax technician. Upon completion students are eligible to test for the state board. Classes will begin in October, Monday through Thursday from 9AM to 3PM.

Royal Spa Academy is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
DPOR Approved
Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation has approved our application for a licensed waxing school. This approval ensures that any individual who has completed the waxing program administered by Royal Spa Academy shall be eligible for the waxing examination.
Our Purpose
RSA will provide students with educational courses to create new beginnings, new opportunities and begin new careers.
Our Mission
RSA students will learn basic massage techniques, theory, and hands-on training with our experienced instructors. By providing educational courses, students will be prepared to take the MBLEX and practice as a licensed massage therapist. Obtaining a license will create new beginnings and opportunities for our students.
History and Development
Royal Spa academy was established in 2022 as a massage therapy school in Spotsylvania County, founded by Tequita Queen, a licensed massage therapist. With five plus years of experience and owning a spa, obtaining a massage therapy school became a goal she determined to achieve. The goal is to educate, train, and supply a professional, firsthand learning opportunity. As we develop, RSA plans to add more programs, offer virtual learning, and acquire multiple schools.
